Responsibilities
- Letter of Credit (LC) Operation & Negotiation(Primary Scope):
- Document Verification:
- Check and confirm the accuracy of amounts and all required documents (e.g., L/C, Invoice, B/L, Packing List, etc.) submitted by trade staff to ensure compliance with the LC requirements before submitting the documents to the bank for bills negotiation.
- Application Preparation:
- Ensure all documents are complete before preparing the Bills of Exchange Application, then submit the application to the authorized manager for signing.
- Timely Settlement:
- Ensure that import bills are settled promptly, enabling trade support staff to prepare export bill documents for negotiation in a timely manner.
- Document Verification:
- e-Banking Support:
- Assist with processing payment instructions within the e-banking system.
- Ad Hoc Assignments:
- Perform any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the Assistant General Manager (AGM) or Assistant Manager.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in LC negotiation/operations.
- Education:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy and Finance or an equivalent qualification.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications and other relevant accounting software.
- Interpersonal & Organizational Skills:
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across various offices.
