The Assistant Finance Manager plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, working capital management, and performance tracking, while also providing oversight of the Accounts Payable function and supporting the monthly financial close process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, delivering accurate projections and actionable insights.
- Perform detailed variance analysis and partner with operational stakeholders to understand business drivers.
- Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare short- and long-term cash forecasts to support working capital optimization.
- Support KPI development and performance tracking across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
- Prepare and enhance management reports and dashboards for regional and global leadership.
- Drive reporting efficiency and automation using tools such as Power BI.
- Support monthly and year-end close processes to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide oversight of the Accounts Payable function to ensure effective operations and adherence to internal controls.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) or Chartered Accountant (ISCA) is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in FP&A, management accounting, or Big 4 audit.
- Experience within a multinational or logistics-related environment is an advantage.
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and working capital management.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (or similar BI tools).
- Experience with Oracle or SAP systems preferred.
