Our client is a Global MNC in the Logistics industry. They are currently looking to bring onboard an Assistant Finance Manager (Accounting & Reporting) to join their finance team. This role is suited for a technically strong accounting professional with deep expertise in financial reporting, tax, and audit, within a structured and fast-paced environment.

The Assistant Finance Manager plays a key role in managing the full spectrum of accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and smooth execution of audit and closing processes.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting & Financial Reporting
  • Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies
  • Manage and review monthly financial close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Maintain integrity of the General Ledger and ensure proper documentation
Tax & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including preparation and review of GST filings and corporate tax computations
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, leading the annual audit process and resolving audit queries
  • Support statutory reporting and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Process Improvement & Controls
  • Review and strengthen accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows to enhance efficiency and compliance
  • Identify and implement improvements in finance operations and reporting processes

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or finance operations
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and local tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience across core accounting functions (e.g., GL, AP, accruals, month-end close)
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a structured, deadline-driven environment
