About the Role
Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager – HSE, Facilities & Administration to support the development and implementation of regional Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives while overseeing workplace facilities, asset governance and administration operations.

Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Support the development and implementation of the company's HSE framework, policies and governance standards across the region.
- Drive HSE programmes, training, awareness initiatives and workplace safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Recommend market best practices to strengthen existing HSE governance.
- Coordinate HSE risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections.
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits and incidents.
- Support incident investigations and follow-up activities.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness programmes, evacuation drills and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).
- Manage workplace facilities and company assets.
- Coordinate office maintenance, security, cleaning services and workplace improvement initiatives.
- Oversee asset lifecycle management and maintain accurate asset records.
- Manage external vendors supporting facilities operations.
- Support office renovation, relocation and regional facilities projects.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day workplace administration and operational support.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities.
- Support budgeting and operational reporting.
- Drive process improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
- Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE, facilities management, workplace administration or corporate governance.
- Good understanding of:
- Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)
- Risk management
- Emergency preparedness
- Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Facilities operations
- Vendor management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional certifications such as WSH Officer, bizSAFE or ISO 45001 Auditor will be an advantage.
