Overview
We are looking for an independent and detail-oriented Associate Business Analyst who is comfortable working in a technical environment. You will collaborate with senior consultants and multiple stakeholders to gather requirements, support solution design, and produce clear documentation. This role suits someone who can understand requirements down to a code / data level, perform basic debugging, and communicate effectively with clients.
Top 3 MUST-Have Skills
- Independent and detail-oriented BA capability — able to collaborate with stakeholders to identify solutions and piece together requirements into a holistic outcome
- Technical comprehension & basic debugging — able to understand requirements at code level, with basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, SQL, and AWS Cloud
- Confident communication
— able to translate technical concepts into clear, non-technical language for client communication
- Work with senior consultants to gather and analyse client requirements, translating business needs into actionable technology solutions.
- Support solution design and development by contributing to technical specifications, workflows, and functional requirements.
- Participate in data collection, analysis, and interpretation to generate insights that support decision-making.
- Create and maintain project documentation including project plans, status reports, and client communications.
- Assist in facilitating stakeholder workshops and presentations, ensuring technical concepts are communicated clearly.
- Participate in team meetings and solution brainstorming sessions to align on delivery approach and next steps.
- Understanding of Kafka and event-driven architecture
- Experience in legacy system migration and/or being the main PIC for change requests (CRs)
- Experience driving client-facing workshops
- Strong problem-solving skills: ability to analyse complex problems, structure responses, and propose improvements
- Ability to write clear and concise technical/functional documentation
- Basic understanding of SDLC
