Salary: Up to S$5,500/month
Contract: 6 Months (Immediate Hiring)
Eligibility: Singapore Citizens only(Project requirement)
We're looking for a Backend Developer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Python and/or Java. Experience with React is a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and/or Java
- Develop and implement RESTful APIs and backend business logic
- Design, optimise, and maintain database queries, schemas, and data access layers
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and external systems
- Ensure backend services meet performance, security, and reliability requirements
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Support SIT/UAT, troubleshoot defects, and implement fixes
- Assist with deployment and post-go-live support
- Maintain technical documentation
Proven experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and backend business logic
Experience with databases and integrating backend services with external systems
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in Python and/or Java
- Experience working with relational databases and API integrations
- Able to start immediately or on short notice
