About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services team. This role will act as an Architect, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform. You will lead cloud migration practices, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and provide expert recommendations to ensure scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for deployment and provisioning.
- Design cost-efficient, fault-tolerant, and scalable distributed systems on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Provide best-practice guidance on architectural design across multiple applications.
- Define technical requirements for cloud-based applications and ensure secure, reliable implementation.
- Deploy and manage network, storage, and database services in cloud environments.
- Drive cloud migration strategies including re-hosting, re-platforming, re-factoring, and re-architecting applications.
- Conduct deep-dive discussions on cloud principles, infrastructure, networking, and security features.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful migration and optimization.
- Support ad-hoc duties related to cloud operations and service delivery.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology/Computer Science.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and deploying cloud architecture on Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Professional certifications: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Architect Professional, and/or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect(minimum 2 required).
- Experience in cloud strategy, migration planning, and operating model design.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security architecture and compliance, including IAM policies, KMS, CloudHSM, Inspector, Macie, Shield, and WAF.
- Proven track record with at least 2 enterprise-scale cloud implementations or migrations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
