About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team on a 1-year contract. In this role, you will be responsible for day-to-day security operations, vulnerability management, identity and access management (IAM), and cryptographic key management. You will support enterprise and customer-facing environments, ensuring systems and applications remain secure, compliant, and operationally stable, while providing clear visibility into overall project security health.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability and security assessments, including VAPT/WAPT support, remediation tracking, and reporting.
- Manage IAM platforms(authentication, federation, SSO, certificate lifecycle, integrations).
- Operate and support Key Management Systems (KMS), including key lifecycle management and cryptographic operations.
- Provide customer and stakeholder security support, including audits, compliance queries, and security architecture clarifications.
- Monitor and report on project security health, maintaining dashboards, risk registers, and remediation progress.
- Support security operations and governance, including incident investigations, SOP/runbook maintenance, and audit evidence preparation.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, OpenVAS).
- Strong understanding of network, system, and application security.
- Practical experience with IAM platforms (IBM ISAM preferred).
- Experience with key management systems and cryptographic concepts (PKI, TLS, certificates).
- Familiarity with Linux systems and troubleshooting production security platforms.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, CIS.
- Experience supporting customer security reviews and audits.
- Ability to translate technical controls into risk-based explanations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable engaging with customers, auditors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, structured approach to BAU security operations.
- Ability to manage multiple security workstreams concurrently.
- Experience in regulated or government environments.
- Exposure to cloud security and cloud KMS integrations.
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP) or vendor IAM/KMS certifications.
