4 days work week, 12 hours shift per day
Able to commute / travel between 2 Data Centres
We are looking for a Data Center Operator to support the day-to-day operations of a data centre, ensuring smooth performance, system availability, and adherence to security and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor data centre systems (servers, network, storage) and environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, power)
- Ensure physical security compliance, including access control and CCTV monitoring
- Perform basic troubleshooting and escalate issues as required
- Support data centre operations (equipment handling, coordination with facility teams, escorting vendors/customers)
- Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and access logs
- Respond to operational requests via calls and emails
- NITEC/Diploma in IT, Engineering, or related field
- ~3 years of experience in data centre operations preferred
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and M365 tools
- Familiarity with data centre monitoring tools and M&E systems
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Able to work independently in a 24/7 shift environment (12-hour shifts)
