Data Migration & Cutover SME (Oracle Fusion) – 12 Months Contract

Our client is hiring a Data Migration & Cutover SME to support a large-scale Finance Transformation Programme. This role will be critical in ensuring smooth data migration, operational readiness, and successful system cutover to Oracle Fusion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and execution of data migration and cutover strategy, including timelines, sequencing, and governance
  • Define data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation rules in collaboration with Finance and Technology teams
  • Oversee data extraction, cleansing, and loading into Oracle Fusion (e.g. GL, subledger, master data)
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through reconciliation processes and business sign-offs
  • Support execution of cutover and go-live activities, including runbooks, mock cutovers, and dress rehearsals
  • Identify, manage, and resolve issues during cutover and post go-live (hypercare phase)
  • Coordinate across Finance, Technology, PMO, and vendors to ensure seamless delivery
  • Support governance activities including readiness tracking, risk management, and go/no-go decisions
Requirements
  • Minimum 3  years of experience in data migration / cutover / operational readiness within ERP projects
  • Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Financials(end-to-end implementation preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with data migration tools such as FBDI, ADFdi, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of financial data (GL, subledger, reporting)
  • Proven experience managing complex stakeholders in time-critical environments
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in insurance or financial services industry
  • Exposure to IFRS 17 or complex financial reporting requirements
  • Experience working with global / multi-location teams
  • Relevant certifications in ERP, delivery, or test management
