About Our Client

Our client is embarking on a major Finance transformation programme to modernise its finance function and enhance operational efficiency, standardisation and data-driven decision-making.

As the Data Migration & Cutover SME, you will support the Accounting & Reporting (A&R) workstream within the Finance Transformation Project, with a key focus on data migration, operational readiness, cutover and go-live activities.

You will work closely with Finance, Technology, Change, PMO and external vendors to ensure the successful migration of financial data into Oracle Fusion, effective cutover execution and a smooth transition into business-as-usual operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Cutover Lead in developing and executing the data migration strategy, including scope, approach, sequencing, timelines and governance.
  • Define and manage data mapping, transformation, validation and reconciliation rules in collaboration with Finance and Technology teams.
  • Oversee data extraction, cleansing and loading activities into Oracle Fusion, covering historical balances, financial master data and subledger transactions.
  • Ensure data integrity through robust reconciliation processes, including trial balance and subledger-to-GL reconciliations, and obtain formal Finance business sign-off.
  • Support the planning and execution of cutover and go-live activities, including mock cutovers and dress rehearsals across Business Units.
  • Develop and maintain detailed cutover runbooks, readiness plans, checklists and entry/exit criteria.
  • Monitor operational readiness, identify gaps and proactively manage risks, issues and dependencies leading up to go-live.

  • Coordinate closely with Finance, Technology, PMO, Change teams and vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
  • Support issue identification, escalation and resolution throughout cutover, go-live and post-go-live hypercare.
  • Facilitate clear and timely stakeholder communications to minimise business disruption during transition.
  • Establish and maintain clear roles, responsibilities, training and support models required for operational readiness.
  • Provide governance and delivery support to ensure the A&R workstream remains on track against agreed milestones, timelines, quality and budget expectations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Operational Readiness and/or Cutover Management within ERP implementation projects.
  • Strong experience in Oracle Fusion / ERP Financial implementations, with exposure to at least one end-to-end implementation cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle data migration tools, such as FBDI, ADFdi or equivalent.
  • Strong technical understanding of Oracle Fusion financial data, systems and processes.
  • Proven experience in data migration, reconciliation, cutover planning and go-live execution.
  • Strong understanding of technical infrastructure and systems.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholder groups and deliver effectively in time-critical environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and risk management capabilities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience within the insurance industry, particularly Finance transformation.
  • Exposure to IFRS 17 or complex financial reporting environments.
  • Experience working with global / multi-location delivery teams, including onshore and offshore teams.
  • Relevant delivery, project or test management certifications would be an advantage.
