- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies, procedures, and management systems aligned with DOSH requirements, the Data Centre Green Book, ISO standards, and corporate policies.
- Lead HSE planning and oversight for data centre operations, new builds, expansions, and M&E construction works.
- Conduct risk assessments, HIRARC, safety audits, and site inspections specific to data centre and construction environments.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions in accordance with DOSH reporting requirements.
- Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and competency training for staff, contractors, and vendors working in data centre facilities and construction sites.
- Ensure contractors comply with approved method statements, permits to work, and construction safety plans as required under DOSH and the Data Centre Green Book.
- Support emergency preparedness and response, including fire safety systems, drills, evacuation exercises, and coordination with relevant authorities.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental controls, waste management, and sustainability requirements applicable to data centre operations.
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation, DOSH submissions, audit records, and management reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of HSE experience, with proven exposure to data centres, critical facilities, and construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of DOSH regulations, OSHA, FMA, and the Data Centre Green Book.
- Experience managing HSE risks in live data centre operations, high-risk M&E works, and construction activities.
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 standards is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and training skills with the ability to engage multiple stakeholders.
- Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, 24/7 mission-critical environment.
