Finance Manager, APAC Deal Desk (12-Month Contract)
Location: Singapore
Contract Duration: 12 Months

About the Role
Our client is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join a dynamic APAC Deal Desk team, supporting strategic client incentive programs, deal structuring, financial analysis, and approval governance across Asia Pacific markets.

This role is ideal for finance professionals who enjoy partnering closely with commercial, sales, and business teams while driving data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deal Review & Commercial Support
  • Review and assess client incentive proposals submitted for approval across APAC markets.
  • Partner with Finance Business Partners, Deal Specialists, and business stakeholders to improve the quality and commercial viability of deal proposals.
  • Support the end-to-end deal approval process, ensuring alignment with governance, compliance, and business requirements.
Financial Analysis & Modelling
  • Perform detailed financial analysis and modelling to evaluate deal performance, risks, and commercial outcomes.
  • Develop insights and recommendations to support management decision-making.
  • Present key findings, trends, risks, and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
Reporting & Business Insights
  • Prepare periodic incentive and deal performance reports for management review.
  • Maintain and analyse client incentive databases to support business planning and performance tracking.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
Process Improvement & Systems Support
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of deal management tools and reporting platforms.
  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and best practices in deal structuring and financial governance.
  • Collaborate with global teams to improve reporting capabilities, data quality, and operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management
  • Partner closely with Finance, Sales, Legal, Contract Management, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong working relationships across regional and global stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely execution of client agreements and compliance with internal approval frameworks.
Requirements
Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Deal Desk, Business Partnering, or related fields.
  • Experience within a multinational corporation is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to deal support, commercial finance, pricing analysis, contract review, or business partnering environments.
Technical Skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation capabilities.
  • Experience with planning and reporting tools such as TM1 is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts.
Business Competencies
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess financial and business implications of complex transactions.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Comfortable presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
