A reputable enterprise advisory organisation is seeking an experienced Financing Specialist to provide one-to-one financial advisory support to enterprises.

The role involves assessing financial health, addressing financing challenges, and facilitating access to suitable financing solutions through close collaboration with financial institutions and ecosystem partners.

This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical and advisory skills, a solid understanding of SME financing needs, and the ability to translate complex financial matters into practical guidance for business owners and management teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Advisory
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of enterprises’ financial health through analysis of business plans, cash flows, and financial projections.
  • Provide tailored financial advisory to support enterprise growth, including refinancing, restructuring, and insolvency-related support to strengthen financial resilience.
  • Advise enterprises on risk and crisis management strategies, including insurance solutions and contingency planning.
  • Provide M&A advisory support for industry consolidation, strategic pivots, and long-term sustainability.
  • Contribute insights on enterprise needs and the financing landscape to support the development of relevant financial advisory products and services.
  • Drive innovation and productivity improvements in the delivery of financial advisory services, keeping abreast of industry trends and developments.

Financing Facilitation
  • Share relevant information with enterprises on applicable government financial schemes and financing programmes.
  • Assist enterprises in securing financing by analysing credit strength, facilitating engagements with financiers, and preparing loan applications.
  • Guide enterprises through the end-to-end loan application process, offering sector- and stage-specific advice across traditional and alternative financing options.

Service Excellence
  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with enterprises through professional, responsive, and high-quality advisory support.
  • Ensure enterprise needs are clearly understood and effectively addressed.

Programme & Capability Development
  • Support the development of learning resources and initiatives aimed at enhancing enterprises’ financial literacy and financial management capabilities.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banking, finance, accountancy, audit, or financial/corporate advisory services.
  • Experience working with SMEs or corporate clients is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, instruments, and markets.
  • Hands-on experience in credit assessment, loan applications, restructuring, and refinancing.
  • Ability to apply data and financial analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with enterprises, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
