About the Role
We are looking for a Java Backend Developer (SMOB) to join an enterprise development team supporting mobile applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Java backend services that power enterprise mobile applications, while working closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications and services using Java.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support mobile applications.
- Integrate backend services with React Native mobile applications and databases.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless data flow and application performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following software development best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of backend integration with mobile applications.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to React Native mobile applications.
- Understanding of iOS and Android mobile application architecture.
- Experience working with Figma-based implementation teams.
- Knowledge of application performance tuning and optimization.
