Job Overview We are seeking an Application Support Engineer to support and maintain critical business systems. The role involves troubleshooting application issues, ensuring system stability, and working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance application performance and user experience.
The ideal candidate should be hands-on, analytical, and able to work independently while contributing to team discussions and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve software/application issues to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide end-to-end application support across multiple business systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system functionality and user experience
- Document issues, solutions, and best practices to build a knowledge base
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and application support practices
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders and team members when required
- Participate actively in team discussions and problem-solving activities
- Strong proficiency in Java programming
- Hands-on experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Spring Boot
- Experience in Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework (Code-First approach)
- Exposure to Docker and AWS for application deployment and management
- Good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software testing practices
- Experience in Application Remediation(basic to intermediate level)
- Intermediate proficiency in JavaScript, .NET Core, and .NET Entity Framework
- Ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
