Analyst – Client Onboarding & KYC
Contract Duration: 6 months (Open for Renewal) 
Location: Central Region 


About the Role
Our client is seeking a Client Onboarding & KYC  Analyst to support the Global Banking & Markets New Business Group (GM NBG), which sits within the Client Experience organisation under Operations.

The team manages client onboarding mandates, ensuring requests are effectively coordinated and completed within the expected launch timeline. The role will work closely with clients and a wide range of internal stakeholders, including Sales, Credit, Client Onboarding, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior professional with approximately 2 years of relevant KYC, client onboarding, or client-facing experience to gain exposure to a fast-paced global banking environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales to prioritise and coordinate client onboarding requests.

  • Manage the documentation and account-opening process from initiation through completion.

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding journey.

  • Liaise closely with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Credit Risk Management, Counterparty Risk, Compliance, and Operations.

  • Provide timely and transparent updates to Sales and clients on onboarding progress and outstanding requirements.

  • Identify potential delays, issues, and bottlenecks and work with relevant stakeholders to drive resolution.

  • Act as an initial escalation point for client and internal queries relating to the onboarding process.

  • Ensure onboarding activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulatory and business requirements.

  • Support the team in identifying opportunities to improve onboarding efficiency, throughput, and overall client experience.

  • Manage multiple onboarding requests simultaneously while maintaining a strong focus on quality and timelines.

Key Requirements
  • Degree in a relevant discipline.

  • Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in KYC, client onboarding, pre-trade, or a client-facing operations role.

  • Experience working directly with clients or external stakeholders is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of KYC and client onboarding processes.

  • Good awareness of regulatory and risk considerations within a financial services environment.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience handling and analysing data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and preparing clear, professional presentations.

  • Data analytics knowledge or practical experience is advantageous.

  • Fluency in English is required.
