We are looking for KYC professionals to join a leading global bank’s KYC / AML Operations team. Depending on experience, the position will be hired at either Maker level.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled KYC reviews across clients with different risk profiles, ensuring records comply with local regulations and internal KYC/AML standards.
- Conduct Client Identification, Verification and Screening, including validation of customer information and relevant third-party sources.
- Perform enhanced due diligence, including PEP/sanctions screening, adverse media and negative news checks where required.
- Determine whether client accounts are within KYC review scope and ensure records remain current and are not overdue.
- Identify and escalate any suspicious product usage or AML-related concerns to senior management for further review.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers, Outreach teams and internal stakeholders to obtain additional information required to complete reviews.
- Maintain high-quality standards and ensure completed KYC files meet the required quality threshold.
- Work with QC and Business Approval teams to address and rectify discrepancies before final submission.
- Highlight system or procedural issues to management and seek clarification where required.
- Depending on the role, may be required to communicate directly with customers to obtain or clarify information.
- 1–3 years of relevant KYC / AML experience
- Hands-on experience in KYC reviews, CDD or client due diligence
- Understanding of AML/KYC requirements and processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of information
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Banking or financial services experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree / University degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in KYC, AML, CDD, Client Due Diligence or banking operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates must be comfortable working with confidential client information
