Job Overview We are seeking an experienced L2 Outgoing Engineer to join an IT operations team supporting critical systems in a fast-paced environment. The role involves managing outgoing hardware requests, supporting infrastructure, and handling L2 troubleshooting tasks. Ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on IT support and operational fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor IT systems and infrastructure to ensure availability and performance
- Handle outgoing device coordination, dispatch, and user support
- Perform L2 troubleshooting on hardware (PCs, printers, network equipment)
- Conduct preventive maintenance and health checks
- Support deployment and configuration of IT devices
- Maintain accurate documentation and asset inventory
- Work with engineers and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Follow SOPs and support operational improvements
- Diploma or equivalent in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of IT support or field service experience preferred
- Knowledge of troubleshooting basic IT hardware and networking issues
- Able to work on 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Immediate or short-notice availability is an advantage
