Our client is hiring an Operations Analyst to support the Equities (EQD) Operations team within a leading global investment bank. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 0–1 year of experience to gain exposure to financial markets and trading operations.
About the Role
You will be part of a dynamic team supporting the trade lifecycle and client operations within Global Markets. The role offers strong exposure to Sales & Trading, Compliance, and Middle Office functions, with opportunities to contribute to process improvements and risk management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations across the trade lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Assist in reporting, analysis, and presentations for compliance and operational metrics
- Identify process gaps and support workflow improvements and automation initiatives
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Sales, Trading, Compliance, and Operations teams
- Investigate and resolve operational issues and exceptions in a timely manner
- Ensure adherence to risk controls, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
- Support client servicing activities and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
- 0–1 year of experience in finance (internship or full-time), fresh graduates are welcome
- Strong interest in financial markets and operations
- Tech-savvy with good proficiency in Excel and data handling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong communication skills and team player
