Operations Analyst – Structured Products Middle Office Analyst
Contract: 6 Months 
Location:  Central 
Experience: 1–2 years in Financial Services / Operations

About the Role
Our client is seeking an Operations Analyst to join the Structured Products Middle Office team within Equity Derivatives & Structuring Operations.

The team serves as a key operational partner to Equity Derivatives Trading and Sales desks, supporting a broad range of complex structured products including Securitised Notes, Issuances, Warrants, Structured Derivatives and SPVs.

You will work closely with Front Office and various internal teams across the product lifecycle, ensuring trades and positions are accurately booked, reconciled and maintained while managing operational risks and controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to Equity Derivatives Trading and Sales teams, with a focus on risk and P&L management.
  • Develop strong product knowledge across Structured Products, Notes, SPVs and Fund Structures.
  • Support the issuance, settlement and lifecycle servicing of structured products across various markets.
  • Ensure new issuances and transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Handle queries from Trading, Sales, external clients and internal stakeholders including Technology, Compliance, Legal and Controllers.
  • Perform trade and risk reconciliations and monitor operational controls, including Corporate Actions.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, working closely with stakeholders across regional and global teams.
  • Take ownership of issues through to resolution while ensuring effective communication and timely follow-up.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience in financial services, banking or operations.
  • Understanding of structured products, such as Securitised Notes, Issuances, Warrants, Structured Derivatives or SPVs.
  • Strong attention to detail with a risk and control mindset.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams across regional and global locations.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player with the initiative to take ownership and drive issues to resolution.
