Your Opportunity
As part of our client’s regional expansion, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, financial performance, and project execution across resorts. This includes leading operational streams for new resort developments and major renovations, ensuring alignment between operations, product, design, and construction.

Key Responsibilities
1. New Developments & Renovations (Project Management)
- Act as the operational lead for new resort openings and major renovation projects, primarily in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
- Lead the operations & product stream, coordinating with construction, HR, finance, marketing, and design teams.
- Review and validate master plans, layouts, and material choices to ensure operational feasibility.
- Oversee OS&E lists, staffing guides, recruitment planning, and P&L projections for new projects.
- Manage site studies, project timelines, and ensure quality, budget, and efficiency in delivery.
- Provide timely communication to Marketing teams on renovation timelines and guest impact.
- Monitor and analyze key operational and financial KPIs(GRI, GOP, revenue per GM, guest satisfaction scores).
- Conduct financial assessments and risk analyses, recommending corrective action plans.
- Partner with resort teams and functional departments to implement efficiency and quality improvements.
- Contribute to talent development and operational readiness by supporting training plans and knowledge-sharing.
- Ensure alignment of regional performance with global strategies.
- Propose operational models for managed resorts, adapting workflows to owner requirements.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with the regional Product & Services team to shape the regional product evolution roadmap.
- Act as a key partner across multiple functions including Sales, Revenue Management, Purchasing, IT, and HR.
- Degree/Master’s in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality or upscale environments.
- Strong project management experience in planning, execution, and delivery.
- Solid background in financial assessment, auditing, and P&L analysis.
- Skilled in strategic analysis and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills(written & verbal).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong leadership, solutions orientation, and results-driven mindset.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Regional scope covering South East Asia & Japan, reporting directly to the VP.
- Involvement in new resort projects, renovations, and financial/operational performance optimization.
