Regional Audit & Tax Compliance Specialist (12-Month Contract)
Location: Singapore

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Regional Audit & Tax Compliance Specialist to support statutory audit, tax and compliance activities across multiple APAC legal entities.

This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in statutory audit, financial compliance or tax compliance, who enjoy working with regional stakeholders, external auditors and tax agents. You will play a key role in ensuring statutory compliance while driving process improvements and standardisation across the region.

The role primarily supports Singapore and other APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate statutory audit and tax activities for assigned APAC legal entities.
  • Act as the primary liaison between external auditors, tax agents and internal Finance, Tax and Compliance teams.
  • Coordinate statutory audit requests, tax filings and compliance requirements to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare, review and consolidate audit support schedules, statutory reports and compliance documentation.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on IFRS and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, audit documentation and compliance processes.
  • Drive standardisation of statutory reporting and audit support documentation across APAC.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal governance and compliance controls.
  • Support regional compliance projects, internal control initiatives and Group Audit activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in statutory audit, accounting compliance, financial reporting, tax or financial compliance.
  • Good understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with external auditors, tax agents and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Exposure to regional or multi-entity environments within APAC is highly preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Candidates from Big 4 Audit, regional finance teams, Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) functions or shared services are encouraged to apply.
