Regional Statutory Reporting & Compliance Analyst (12-Month Contract)
Location: Singapore

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Regional Statutory Reporting & Compliance Analyst  to support statutory compliance, audit, tax, and reporting activities across multiple APAC legal entities. The role will primarily cover Singapore, Korea, and Japan, with opportunities to support India and Group Audit as required.

You will work closely with outsourced partners, internal finance teams, and regional stakeholders to drive compliance, improve processes, and standardise reporting across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, the Tax team, Accounting, Compliance & Reporting (ACR) team, and internal stakeholders across APAC to ensure timely statutory filings and tax compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and documentation required for statutory audit and tax reporting.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders to ensure accounting entries comply with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Prepare and consolidate audit support schedules and reporting requirements across APAC.
  • Drive the standardisation of statutory reporting and audit support documentation, collaborating with teams such as IT and Finance.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for audit support processes, tax reporting, and data extraction.
  • Support accounting and tax-related queries from regional stakeholders.
  • Perform tax reconciliations across APAC entities.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and controls.
  • Support or lead regional compliance initiatives, internal control enhancements, and special projects.

Ideal Candidate
  • Experience in statutory reporting, audit, compliance, tax, or financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of IFRS.
  • Experience working with multiple legal entities or regional/APAC operations is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
  • Process improvement mindset with strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
