About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to design, build, and enhance Experience Cloud sites for external users. This role focuses on custom development, site architecture and branding, security and access management, and integration with external systems. You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly community experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Experience Cloud Site Development
- Build and customise Experience Cloud sites using Experience Builder, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
- Design and implement site architecture, navigation, branding, and reusable UI components.
- Ensure responsive performance, usability, and maintainability of Experience Cloud solutions.
- Develop applications and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
- Build automation using Apex triggers, batch classes, and schedulable jobs.
- Create reusable components and frameworks to improve development efficiency and code quality.
- Configure Salesforce features such as workflows, approval processes, and security settings.
- Manage profiles, roles, sharing rules, and Experience Cloud/community user access.
- Implement and maintain external user security including data visibility, authentication, and SSO.
- Integrate Experience Cloud with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, and middleware tools.
- Support end-to-end integration testing and troubleshoot issues across systems.
- Design data models and write SOQL queries to support reporting and application logic.
- Implement validation rules and data integrity controls.
- Manage data feeds and ensure consistency across integrated systems.
- 5+ years of Salesforce experience with deep focus on Experience Cloud.
- Strong experience with LWC, Aura Components, and Experience Builder.
- Strong understanding of Experience Cloud site architecture, navigation, branding, and external user experience design.
- Proven ability to configure and manage profiles, roles, sharing rules, and community user access.
- Hands-on integration experience using REST/SOAP, Salesforce Connect, and middleware tools.
- Strong knowledge of external user authentication and security including SSO, data visibility, and access controls.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Financial Services Cloud.
- Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II, Experience Cloud Consultant, etc.).
