Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Application Support Lead to manage SAP application management (AMS) service delivery and lead a technical support team. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality SAP support operations, driving incident/problem/change management, managing SLAs/KPIs, and working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to maintain stable and reliable SAP services.

Top Must-Have Skills / Primary Skills
  • SAP experience: Proven experience in SAP application management, production support, or a similar role.
  • Leadership: Strong team management skills with experience leading technical teams.
  • Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills (technical and non-technical audiences).
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical troubleshooting skills for complex SAP issues.
  • Process knowledge: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and SAP support processes.

Key Responsibilities

1) Service Delivery Management
  • Oversee the delivery of SAP AMS services, ensuring high-quality support and maintenance of SAP systems.
2) Team Management
  • Lead and manage a team of SAP AMS professionals through coaching, guidance, and development.
3) Incident & Problem Management
  • Ensure timely resolution of SAP incidents and problems.
  • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
4) Change Management
  • Manage SAP change requests and releases, ensuring minimal business disruption and adherence to change governance.
5) Service Level Management
  • Monitor and report on SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics; track trends and ensure performance targets are met.
6) Stakeholder Management
  • Communicate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure alignment and efficient issue resolution.
7) Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve support processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and service quality.
8) Knowledge Management
  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases, documentation, and training materials to support the SAP AMS function.

Good-to-Have Skills (Optional)
  • SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Basis, SAP Fiori, or relevant modules).
  • Project management experience (handling multiple workstreams/projects).
  • Technical exposure to ABAP, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform.
