Overview
We are seeking a client-facing SAP Authorization Analyst to support SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori authorization and access management activities. This role is ideal for someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a growth mindset—candidates who communicate well and can learn quickly will be prioritized over those with purely deep technical specialization.
Top 3 Must-Have Skills
- Strong client/business end-user facing experience — able to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and explain technical concepts in business-friendly language
- SAP S/4 Authorization fundamentals(e.g., PFCG, STAUTHTRACE, SU53, SUIM) — depth can be developed on the job
- SAP Fiori exposure
with willingness and ability to upskill
- Collaborate with business and project teams to investigate and resolve SAP S/4HANA and Fiori authorization issues, identifying practical solutions.
- Work with functional teams and end users to provide technical expertise and support authorization setup.
- Develop and maintain security plans aligned with client SDLC processes and procedures, applying the principle of least privilege.
- Perform User Access Management
activities (e.g., access requests, role assignments, troubleshooting, and related documentation).
- Confident communicator who can engage directly with business users and stakeholders.
- Able to understand user pain points and translate them into effective authorization solutions.
- Strong “teachable” attitude with a growth mindset—open to learning and expanding SAP S/4 and Fiori authorization capabilities.
- Balanced functional understanding and people skills; communication effectiveness is prioritized over deep technical specialization.
- Prior experience supporting SAP security/authorization in a production environment.
- Familiarity with governance practices for access management (e.g., documentation standards, audit readiness).
