About the role
Support security operations and incident response, including monitoring, investigations, tool tuning/metrics, documentation, and continuous improvements to reduce risk and strengthen detection/response.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and investigate security alerts; support incident response (malware/ransomware, phishing, insider threats, data leakage)
- Manage vulnerability scanning, risk assessment, remediation tracking, and patch coordination
- Operate and tune security tools (e.g., SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, email/web security, DLP/CASB) and integrate with enterprise systems
- Track emerging threats and translate intelligence into actionable controls/detections
- Support governance, risk & compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PDPA, GDPR), audits, and documentation
- Support security awareness and drive automation/KPI reporting
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology (or equivalent)
- 3+ years experience in IT, with basic knowledge of networks, servers (Unix/Windows), and endpoints
- Experience using security tools (e.g., endpoint security, PAM, vulnerability scanners, SIEM platforms)
- One or more: QISP, CISSP, Cybersecurity Nexus, CompTIA Security+
