Based in Singapore, this role supports innovation initiatives across Asia Pacific, including Australia, Singapore, Japan, China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, and other key markets. The team culture values curiosity, experimentation, continuous learning, respectful collaboration, inclusion, empathy, resilience, and fun.

The Opportunity (6-Month Contract)
We are seeking a Senior Manager, AP Innovation to join the team on a 6-month contract. This role will lead innovation sprints, client proof-of-concepts (POCs), and industry engagement across the region.

This position is well-suited for an experienced innovation, design consulting, or product professional who thrives in a fast-paced, project-based environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is comfortable leading from the front with minimal ramp-up time.

Key Responsibilities

Client Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
  • Define project scope, approach, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with client and organisational objectives.
  • Craft clear hypotheses around client challenges, articulating desirability, feasibility, and viability outcomes.
  • Design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research(e.g. ethnographic studies, user interviews, market analysis).
  • Structure and facilitate innovation workshops and sprints, working with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, solution architects, and marketers from both client and internal teams.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs, including value propositions, UI/UX concepts, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, commercial models, solution architecture, and development plans.
Industry Engagement & Thought Leadership
  • Represent the Innovation team as a subject matter expert (SME) at industry events, forums, and client engagements.
  • Develop thought leadership content to position our client as a leader in innovation and digital commerce.
  • Identify emerging and untapped opportunities where payments or digital commerce play a role, articulating the organisation’s right to play.
  • Drive knowledge sharing, training, and best-practice adoption across internal and cross-functional stakeholders.

Why This Role Matters
The Innovation function is at the forefront of developing and deploying cutting-edge solutions for clients, partners, and the broader ecosystem. This 6-month contract role will play a critical part in accelerating innovation initiatives, delivering client impact, and reinforcing our client’s leadership in the market.

What You Will Need
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, payments, and innovation trends, with a futurist mindset and passion for technology.
  • 8–10 years of experience, with at least half of the time in innovation consulting, design consulting, or product development.
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous client needs into structured project scopes and actionable outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience engaging C-level stakeholders, with strong executive presence and facilitation skills.
  • Deep experience applying human-centered design principles in workshops, sprints, and project delivery.
  • Strong track record managing complex, cross-functional, multi-market projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Ability to coach and guide junior team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree is an advantage.
