About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer to join our client’s team on a 1-year contract. You will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering integration solutions using Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform across complex enterprise landscapes. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, enjoys solving integration challenges end-to-end, and can provide technical leadership within agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of integrations using MuleSoft (Mule 4, Anypoint Platform) across multiple projects.
- Apply API-led connectivity principles to design System, Process and Experience APIs.
- Design and document APIs using RAML/OpenAPI and publish them to Anypoint Exchange.
- Develop complex transformations using DataWeave 2.x.
- Configure and manage Anypoint Platform components including:
- Design Center
- API Manager (policies, SLAs, security)
- Runtime Manager
- Anypoint Exchange
- Deploy and run applications on CloudHub and/or Runtime Fabric (RTF), ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting for Mule applications.
- Set up and support CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft deployments using Maven and Git (and related DevOps tools).
- Deliver integrations involving Salesforce or other major enterprise platforms (e.g. ERP, CRM, core systems).
- Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
- Coach and mentor junior developers, providing guidance on design, coding, and troubleshooting.
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders in an agile environment to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- 5+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience, primarily on Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform, across at least 2–3 end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Proven track record delivering complex integration solutions in large enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating MuleSoft with Salesforce or another major enterprise platform (CRM/ERP/core systems).
- MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4)
- MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect – Level 1
- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Level 1
- At least one major cloud provider certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
