Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join a dynamic IT team. In this role, you will lead systems analysis, solution design, and implementation initiatives that support business operations and digital transformation projects. You will collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable, high-quality technology solutions while providing guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end systems analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, solution design, and system implementation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Analyse business processes and recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Support system integration activities across internal and external applications.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business and quality expectations.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, system design documents, and test plans.
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and security.
- Work closely with developers, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to IT best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Candidates with equivalent relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 6 years of experience in systems analysis, application development, or IT project delivery.
- Experience managing projects across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering through deployment and post-implementation support.
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Java
- JavaScript
- Angular
- SQL
- Object-oriented programming and web application development frameworks
- Good understanding of SDLC methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches.
- Experience preparing technical and functional documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage.
