About the Role
Our client is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions, with a strong focus on Security Operations (SecOps – Vulnerability Response) and/or IT Service Management (ITSM). This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of hands-on ServiceNow development experience, relevant certifications, and a passion for building scalable, robust solutions on a low-code/no-code platform in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and customise ServiceNow applications and modules, particularly:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Security Operations (SecOps – Vulnerability Response)
- Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and other platform components to automate and optimise processes.
- Work with stakeholders to gather technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and platforms using APIs, MID Servers, and other integration methods.
- Support upgrades, patches, and enhancements to the ServiceNow platform, ensuring stability and compatibility.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support operations, monitoring, and management reporting.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge transfer, and best practices
for ServiceNow development and configuration.
- Completed the following ServiceNow certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for Vulnerability Response
- Experience implementing either:
- ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM), and/or
- ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps – Vulnerability Response)
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
Additional Required Skills
- Experience designing and implementing scalable, robust architectures on low-code/no-code platforms, ideally within complex enterprise environments (preferably with related ServiceNow low/no-code certifications).
- Practical experience in:
- Configuring and customising ServiceNow modules
- Building workflows, business rules, and automations
- API-based integrations and/or MID Server-based integrations
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and best practices.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Completed ServiceNow IT Service Management Fundamentals training.
- Completed ServiceNow Security Operations Fundamentals training.
