About the Role
We are seeking a Systems & Data Analyst for a contract role with a strong initial focus on KPI reporting, dashboards, and business analytics, with systems support and governance responsibilities phased in over time to complement the existing team. This is an outcome-driven role, suited to candidates who can quickly assess existing data and reporting processes, deliver reliable and audit-ready dashboards, and ensure data accuracy across established business process and data management platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365–based). As the engagement progresses, the role will expand to include systems support, access governance, and audit assistance, making it ideal for candidates who are adaptable and comfortable working independently in a structured, compliance-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Data, KPI Reporting & Business Analytics (Primary – Initial Focus)
- Rapidly develop, refine, and maintain KPI dashboards and performance reports for stakeholders.
- Validate data sources, calculations, and outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.
- Automate recurring reports and analytics workflows to improve efficiency within the contract period.
- Provide Level 1 & Level 2 support for existing business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365–based platforms.
- Manage user access, roles, and permissions in line with security and compliance policies.
- Support system governance activities, including SOP updates and user guidance.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including data validation and documentation support.
Data & Reporting
- Demonstrated experience delivering KPI reporting and dashboards, preferably in contract or project-based roles.
- Strong hands-on capability with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Experience validating data, reconciling figures, and ensuring reporting accuracy.
- Working knowledge of access management, security controls, and system governance processes.
- Exposure to enterprise business systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365) is advantageous.
- Able to onboard quickly and deliver against defined outcomes and timelines.
- Comfortable working independently in a structured, compliance-driven environment.
- Strong stakeholder communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
- Flexible and adaptable as priorities evolve during the contract engagement.
