1-Year Contract | Central Location
We are seeking a Systems Engineer (Workplace M365) to support modern workplace operations for a leading enterprise in a managed services environment. You will help create a seamless and productive work experience by deploying, troubleshooting, and managing workplace technologies, with a focus on cloud services and endpoint management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support for end users across software/applications, hardware, and network issues
- Respond to and resolve service desk tickets efficiently and within agreed timelines
- Monitor endpoint management tools and address alerts proactively
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and workplace software
- Set up and configure workstations for new hires (including software installation and peripherals)
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance and security
- Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues
- Communicate clearly with users to understand needs and provide practical solutions
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in end-user computing / workplace support / similar roles
- Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS)
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
- Experience with endpoint management solutions such as SCCM, Intune, Ivanti or similar
- Familiarity with VDI technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Microsoft Cloud PC, Workspace ONE, Citrix)
- Good understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and customer-focused mindset
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Preferred: CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Advantage: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: SharePoint, AWS Cloud Practitioner / AI Practitioner (or equivalent)
- SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, DLP, Microsoft Defender, AWS Connect
- Automation using Power Automate
- Scripting with PowerShell
- ITIL Foundation (V3/V4)
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) experience
