About the Role
Join the Asset & Wealth Management Operations team of a leading global financial institution. The Trade Management team is responsible for overseeing the full trade lifecycle across Asia, working closely with trading desks, portfolio managers, brokers, custodians and internal operations teams.
This role is suitable for candidates with 2–4 years of experience in Finance or Operations, particularly those with exposure to trading, financial products or the trade lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee trade lifecycle activities
across Asian markets.
- Support trade confirmation and settlement
across various markets and products, ensuring internal and external cut-off times are met.
- Provide day-to-day support to trading desks, including handling ad-hoc queries and business initiatives.
- Support industry and regulatory requirements
relating to trade confirmation and settlement.
- Review existing processes, identify inefficiencies and support process improvement initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with traders, portfolio managers and internal operations teams.
- Liaise with external brokers, custodians and vendors
to resolve trade-related issues.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience
in Finance, Banking, Investment Operations or related fields.
- Operations experience with exposure to trading or financial products
is required.
- Candidates from a broader Operations background with trade exposure
will be considered; direct trade settlement/confirmation experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Exposure to Equities and/or Futures
is highly preferred, as these are the most commonly handled products.
- Experience across other financial products such as Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives or Alternatives
is also welcome.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong risk and control mindset, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to take ownership and work effectively across multiple teams.
- Buy-side / Asset Management experience.
- Experience working with trading desks, brokers, custodians or investment operations teams.
- Broader exposure to the trade lifecycle, including confirmation, settlement and post-trade activities.
