Our client is looking for a Trading Operation Executive to support its Food Department trading operations within the Asia-Pacific region. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination across shipment execution, contract administration, compliance, and business reporting activities to support efficient trading operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers, and logistics partners within a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shipment Execution & Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate and monitor shipment execution to ensure smooth delivery processes across the Asia-Pacific region
- Liaise closely with suppliers, customers, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely shipment arrangements and customs clearance
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping and trade documentation
- Ensure all shipment activities are completed accurately and within timeline
- Ensure all trading activities comply with internal company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strong integrity and compliance standards in daily operations
- Support internal control processes and documentation management
- Prepare and issue sales and purchase contracts promptly upon business confirmation
- Ensure contractual terms, details, and documentation are accurate and properly maintained
- Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve contract-related matters when required
- Prepare regular business and operational reports, including:
- Monthly Gross Profit (GP) reports
- Outstanding contracts reports
- Trading activity updates
- Support the team in monitoring business performance and operational progress
- Assist in maintaining data accuracy and reporting visibility for management review
RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within trading, business coordination, logistics, or commercial operations
- Prior exposure within the food trading industry will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong business communication skills in English
- Good coordination and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Able to work independently within a fast-paced and structured environment

- Trading companies
- Commodity/Food trading
- Import & Export operations
- Supply chain or logistics coordination
- Commercial operations support functions
