Overview: We are looking for a Support Analyst to join our Capital Markets IT team and contribute to the successful decommissioning and migration of a legacy trading platform to a next-generation front office system. This role is crucial in supporting the transition of global cross-asset Treasury operations and ensuring seamless business continuity throughout and after the migration.
You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders, business analysts, support teams, and developers across regions, with a focus on managing inbound/outbound flows, APIs, and system performance. Post-migration, you’ll support BAU operations across Treasury and ALM platforms and take an active role in optimizing processes and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical support
on treasury systems and in-house applications
- Manage incident resolution, requests, and problem escalation
from users and other IT teams
- Conduct application monitoring
and day-to-day operations
- Participate in post-business hours activities(e.g., on-call support, weekend deployments, DR, and releases)
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to analyze, document, and translate requirements
- Assist with interface performance, latency improvements, and system resiliency
- Contribute to continuous improvement
initiatives across the support environment
- Support junior team members and participate in knowledge sharing
- Follow and promote best practices in ITIL, risk analysis, and incident prevention
- 5–7 years of experience in production support
or application support
for financial systems
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Prior experience with treasury
or capital markets applications
is essential
- Proficient in SQL/PLSQL, Shell scripting, XML, MQ Series, Control-M
- Exposure to monitoring tools (e.g., ITRS Geneos) is a plus
- Familiar with incident, problem, and change management processes ( ITIL knowledge/certification
preferred)
- Good understanding of capital markets environment, especially FO/BO systems (e.g., Summit, Kondor+, Murex, Calypso)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting
capabilities
- Excellent communication
and interpersonal
skills
- Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team
- Organized and self-motivated with a continuous learning
mindset
- Experience in regulatory reporting environments
- Familiarity with Orchestrade
or similar trading platforms
- Experience working in multi-site, international teams
- Interest in automation, process optimization, and knowledge sharing
