Workday Functional Consultant 

Location: Central, Singapore
Employment Type: 3-Month Contract

About the Role
We are looking for a Workday Functional Consultant – Performance Management to lead the design, configuration, testing, and support of Workday Performance Management and related HCM modules. You will partner closely with HR, Talent Management, and IT to optimise performance reviews, goal management, continuous feedback, and talent programs within Workday. This is a hands-on functional role with strong stakeholder interaction and end-to-end ownership of performance processes in the system.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workday Configuration & Functional Expertise
  • Lead configuration and ongoing support for Workday Performance Management, including:
    • Performance Reviews
    • Goal Management
    • Check-ins and Continuous Feedback
    • Feedback Cycles & Talent Cards
    • Review Templates, steps, and timeline setup
  • Configure and maintain:
    • Business processes
    • Security roles
    • Condition rules
    • Notifications
    • Dashboards and related objects
2. Project Implementation & Enhancements
  • Participate in or lead enhancements, new feature rollouts, and optimisation initiatives in Workday.
  • Collaborate with HR/Talent stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, translating them into functional configurations.
  • Support Workday Releases by:
    • Reviewing new features
    • Assessing impact
    • Proposing and implementing relevant updates
3. Testing & Documentation
  • Develop and execute test plans including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Coordinate testing activities with HR and business users.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation:
    • Configuration and design documents
    • SOPs and process guides
    • Release notes and change logs
4. Data & Reporting
  • Build and optimise Workday reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports preferred).
  • Support data integrity checks and validation activities.
  • Provide insights and analytics to HR and leadership teams for performance and talent decisions.
5. Support & Troubleshooting
  • Act as SME for Workday Performance Management and related HCM modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; provide break/fix support and manage Workday cases with the vendor where needed.
  • Train and support HR partners, managers, and employees on performance-related processes and system usage.

Requirements
  • 4–8 years of relevant experience in Workday Functional/HCM roles.
  • At least 1 full Performance Management implementation in Workday (end-to-end).
  • Workday Performance and Talent certification – required.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Workday Performance Management configuration (reviews, goals, feedback, templates, timelines, business processes, security).
  • Experience with Workday reporting (Advanced, Matrix, Composite) and data validation.
  • Good understanding of HR and Talent processes (performance cycles, goals, feedback, calibration).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work closely with HR, Talent, IT, and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
