Role : Application Developer
Job Type: Contract
Duration : 12 months (renewable)
Roles and Responsibilities
As Application Developer, you have the opportunity to be part of the project team to take on the exciting and challenging role of delivering and maintaining a large-scale project using AGILE software development methodology.
- Design and deliver working software applications to delight customers
- Assist BA on user stories elaboration, expand on scenarios to be tested
- Ability to assist on build and release automation
- Design and implementation of test automation scenarios
- Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing
- Prepare technical documentation
- Adheres to Software Craftsmanship Manifesto
Knowledge and Skills
- Tertiary Education (Degree or Diploma) in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines relevant field is preferred
- Expertise in Java (Spring Framework or Spring Batch)
- Expertise in automation test tools: Selenium and Cucumber
- Experience in Agile and UX development environments will be an added advantage
- Experience in Javascript framework such as VueJS, KoaJS, NodeJS will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Outsystems will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in Dockers will be an added advantage
- Knowledge in software troubleshooting skills
- Experiences in production support
- Understanding on CI/CD practices
- Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements Familiar with Clean Code, Design Patterns and Unit Testing
- Familiar with multi-paradigm programming languages
