Business Analyst

• 1 year contract with an option to extend for another 12 months

The Opportunity

• Understand and analyse the company's business needs and develop solutions to address business pain points/objectives
• Provide guidance based on industry/company's IT best practices to ensure that solutions are sound and robust
• Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the company needs
• Work with company's vendor(s) and app vendor(s) on the solutions and validate technical solutions proposed.
• Work with company business and IT to ensure the success of project deployments and operations
• Perform business analysis:
• 1. Identify key stakeholders, techniques and processes to manage, track and trace requirements
  2. Refine and clarify business needs, define solution scope and develop business case solution
  3. Propose and articulate solutions that can bring value to the current process/state of systems through the requirements of stakeholders
  4. Source and evaluate alternatives to identify solution that best fits business need, identify gaps, and determine workarounds/changes to the solution.
  5. Manage conflicts, issues and changes to ensure stakeholders and project team agree on with project scope, communicate and manage expectations of stakeholders
• Continuously find means and ways to improve operations, streamline work processes and work cooperatively and jointly with various company user departments to provide quality services
• Drive up adoption rate of new IT initiatives, platforms and services

Your Background

• Tertiary education in relevant fields is preferred
• Experience in government domain will be an added advantage 3. Hands-on experience in at least 1 full project development life cycle
• Advantageous to have:

1. Consulting or Business Analysis experience
2. Up-to-date knowledge on product trends, best practices and technologies
3. J2EE, .NET, CMS, PowerBI, Data analytics, AI experience
4. Experience/knowledge in application security
5. Project experience with government related tools and platforms
6. Up to date on product trends, best practices and technologies
