As a Business Analyst, this person would:

  • Executing projects in the role of a business analyst in Wholesale or Corporate Banking Credit Risk domain or framework (banking and financial services)
  • Organizing and participating stakeholder discussions / workshops for carrying out analysis, defining solution alternatives, building consensus and obtaining sign-off
  • Documenting client discussions, analysis findings and the recommended solution in clear and concise manner
  • Supporting the larger engagement (business / operations / IT) team during implementation, functional validation and deployment of the solution
  • Developing strong working relationships with clients and ensure positive client feedback
  • Supporting Wholesale Banking Practice leaders and managers in primary/ secondary research, impact analysis of regulations, asset/ collateral / framework design, business development and other internal business initiatives in similar manner based on the level of experience and seniority


Job Requirements (Please specify mandatory skills, additional skills)

  • 3-9 years of relevant experience, preferably as a Business Analyst or Consultant with exposure to methodologies and frameworks in banking projects or in a bank in Change projects relating to Wholesale or Corporate Banking Credit Risk domain or framework
  • Graduate degree in any Business or Commerce or Science or Engineering stream
  • CFA or FRM or Post graduate qualification (Master's) in Finance or an MBA or any other relevant certification in Finance is advantageous
  • Broad understanding of the banking products and processes with deeper understanding in at least one line of business
  • Strong expertise in specific topics
    • Wholesale or Corporate Banking Credit Risk domain or framework
  • Strong communication skills in English - verbal and written
  • Structured analysis, problem solving skills
  • Proficient in requirements management, business analysis and solution definition, cost-benefit analyses, other quantitative frameworks for decision making
  • Experience of working with IT teams, knowledge of SDLC, requirements documentation
  • Data analysis skills using SQL and other tools will be an advantage
  • Ability to perform in a tight deadline environment
