With a strong network of global operations, this regional telco provider is currently looking for a seasoned Carrier Sales Manager due to growth plans for 2021.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Carrier Sales Manager with an existing network and is passionate about the telecommunications business to join an expanding business. As one of the key contributors, you will be responsible for building the client's sales in the region through generating new business pipelines, ensuring successful deployments, and overachieving targets. If you are an "industry thinker", and able to influence commercial communities, this will be an excellent role for you!
Responsibilities:
- Drive the overall sales performance and achieve revenue quota in the region
- Consistently grow share of wallets within the telco space to ensure profitability and exceeding numbers
- Identify and develop new opportunities in the telco provider space to grow the telecommunications business as well as deliver new sales to achieve budgeted sales targets
- Coordinate with partners and multiple sales channels in global/regional accounts
- Establish strategic plans with the key customers and its sponsors for operational deployments
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of hunter/account management experience selling into telecommunications
- Experience in managing key account relationships and generating opportunities in complex telecommunications sales environment
- Strong network of regional telco operators highly desirable
- Carrier sales experience is mandatory to the success of this role
- Good communicator, coupled with inquisitive spirit
