- Provide consultancy and support to Sales for contract closure
- Interfacing with both the generalists and specialists in the sales and delivery teams
- Prepare price, cost calculation and financial justification for customized solutions
- Executing quick technical feasibility and proposal development for moving identifiedworkloads to SmartCLOUD
- Must have the ability to effectively present to a wide range of audiences from IT Proto CxO to business decision makers. They must also have a good understanding of issues surrounding Cloud Governance, deployment, management, security andintegration of technologies and solutions. They are responsible for driving technical customer engagements including architectural design sessions, proof of concepts, and specific project implementations.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Building a technical and security architecture in SmartCLOUD for the selected workloads
- Selecting a migration approach to lift and shift the workloads to SmartCLOUD or architecting a greenfield development and/or production platform for new applications
- Ensuring plan execution and SmartCLOUD consumption targets are met
- Span of Control / Authority (Numbers and Titles of sub-ordinates directly and indirectly supervised, size of budget accountable for and decision making authority)
Job Specification:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years pre-sales support experience in ICT industry
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to capture customers' requirements and provide creative solutions to cater customer needs
- Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Deep technical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Virtualization
- Storage
- Windows
- Linux
- IP Networking
- IT Security
