The Opportunity
As a Senior Developer/Developer, your role will be:
- Work closely with Project Manager for the design, implementation and maintenance of BI projects.
- Scope of work includes:
- Support all works related to BI projects to ensure that the BI capabilities implemented meet the business and technical requirements of the projects;
- Work with company's appointed personnel on interfaces with the BI Systems;
- Handle incident and service request management to resolve issues within company's Service Level Agreement;
- Engage users to implement enhancements/refinements based on changes in company's business requirements/needs according to the timeline agree upon with users;
- Work with company's appointed personnel to support and provide response to regular audits or reviews for the projects and work on the follow-up action and recommendation from the audit findings;
- Conduct testing of software patches (or upgrades) and to work with Facilities Management for the production deployment;
- Support project manager in conducting regular BI clinics and user training/briefing (with training materials) to raise the BI competency for company's users.
Your Background
Senior Developer:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Overall >=4 years of experience working in IT industry.
- Preferred to have 3 to 4 years of practical experience in using Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerPivot, PowerView (SQL Server 2012 & above) and SharePoint (2013 & above) for design, development, implementation and maintenance of BI capability (end-to-end implementation from data source, data model design, to Power Pivot/View and Dashboards).
- Preferred to have 1 to 2 years' practical experience in using Microsoft MDS, DQS (SQL Server 2012 & above) for design, development, implementation and maintenance of data management. Experience in Tableau is also preferred.
- Secondary: Informatica, Hyperion Interactive Reporting, QlikView, SAP Webi, Tableau
- Good understanding of enterprise information management and enterprise architecture.
- Good team player and communication skills (written and spoken).
Developer:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Preferably a degree in relevant skillset.
- Preferably 1 year min experience working in IT industry.
- Preferred to have 1 to 2 years practical experience in using Microsoft SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, PowerPivot, PowerView (SQL Server 2012 & above) and SharePoint (2013 & above) for design, development, implementation and maintenance of BI capability (end-to-end implementation from data source, data model design, to Power Pivot/View and Dashboards).
