The Opportunity
- Ensure the company IT systems are hardened in accordance to IM8 policies
- Timely system password change (Quarterly and Yearly)
- Perform System Accounts Review for company systems
- Ensuring that IT assets (Software and Hardware) are supportable and are records are kept up-to-date
- Operation System Support of IT Systems
- Support IT Audit Activities
Your Background
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Graduate Degree in Computer/Computer Science or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is required:
(a) Operating Systems
- Solaris/HP-UX/Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server
- Solaris/HP-UX Cluster, Microsoft Cluster
(b) Databases
- Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft SQL Server
(c) Virtualization
- VMWare ESXi
(d) SAN storage and backup technologies
- NetApp Unified Storage, Symantec NetBackup
(e) Operational knowledge of IT security processes and standards for infrastructure
- Knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
(a) G-Cloud and Government Data Centre hosting environments
(b) Experience in government processes
