The Opportunity

Incident Analyst is accountable for:

  • Setting up and maintaining effective operational support processes to meet the business needs of financial institution's distribution channels
  • Ensuring continuity of service of IT applications of financial institution's distribution channelsset up and maintain effective operational support for IT applications for distribution channels
  • Set up and maintain efficient incident management processes, mitigating risks, applying effective problem-solving processes, and attending to audit and reporting requirements
  • Identify and manage internal and external dependencies
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
  • Proactively review and refine operational processes, to meet changing business needs. Plan and implement changes with minimum disruptions to business
  • Identify and manage the risks in operational & business processes. Attend to mitigation and remediation tasks. Report and escalate on risks, controls and standards, as required

Your Background

  • Good communication skills
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Working knowledge of Insurance products, business processes, and regulations
  • Working knowledge of web-based IT applications and technologies (Business Objects, Imaging and workflow applications, Java programming, GUI, databases, application development methodologies)
  • Experienced in business process modelling and implementation
  • Proficient in solutions assessment and validation
