The Opportunity
Incident Analyst is accountable for:
- Setting up and maintaining effective operational support processes to meet the business needs of financial institution's distribution channels
- Ensuring continuity of service of IT applications of financial institution's distribution channelsset up and maintain effective operational support for IT applications for distribution channels
- Set up and maintain efficient incident management processes, mitigating risks, applying effective problem-solving processes, and attending to audit and reporting requirements
- Identify and manage internal and external dependencies
- Build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
- Proactively review and refine operational processes, to meet changing business needs. Plan and implement changes with minimum disruptions to business
- Identify and manage the risks in operational & business processes. Attend to mitigation and remediation tasks. Report and escalate on risks, controls and standards, as required
Your Background
- Good communication skills
- Good conflict resolution skills
- Working knowledge of Insurance products, business processes, and regulations
- Working knowledge of web-based IT applications and technologies (Business Objects, Imaging and workflow applications, Java programming, GUI, databases, application development methodologies)
- Experienced in business process modelling and implementation
- Proficient in solutions assessment and validation
