Investments Analyst - Fixed Income & Structured Products

The Opportunity
Product Management & Strategy
- Managing the weekly Investments revenue and drivers flash process (estimates) by liaising closely with countries to ensure timely submission for Senior Management review. Also assume responsibility for curating content and ensuring data quality managing periodic business updates to GWM leadership
- Continually improving the regional investments business updates including ideating on newer and innovative ways of communicating the key aspects of the investments business to GWM senior leadership
- Support product head to drive FISP digitization initiatives and enhancements
- Support FISP quarterly campaigns or ad-hoc campaigns
Project Management
- Work closely with product head and technology prioritization team in managing the Fixed Income and Structured Products (FISP) Technology roadmap and prioritization process
- Represent product in project discussions, collaborate with digital, technology and country product teams to define project requirement and scope.
- Work with WiW Project Management Office (PMO) to monitor progress of technology projects to ensure timely delivery
Governance
- Support the product head in periodic renewals of regional product programs. Assist product manager in consolidating, following up and reviewing country feedback on program renewals to ensure alignment with Policy and Procedures
- Support the product head in the reporting to various governance forums including Product Committee and Technology governance forums (where required)
- Support product head in monitoring industry developments, exposure, issuer remediation plans and on-going communications on Libor Transition, with periodic updates to CROF (Conduct Risk Operating Forum)
Procurement
- Liaise with Procurement and external agencies to address regional requirements on market data sourcing as required
- Understand use case and review agreements/third party contracts (including terms and conditions) from business perspective to ensure coverage and highlight any potential unfavorable impact or risk to the Company for further review by Legal and Compliance
Training & Development
- Support the Product Head in refreshing RMs/Specialist FISP Training Materials
Data
- Work with Decision Management to improve data quality and enhance analytical capabilities across products and drive productivity initiatives and performance analysis
Your Background
- Degree in Banking, Finance or Law preferred
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management Product management
- Strong product knowledge in Risk Management, Product Control and Middle Office is beneficial
- Proven Project / Change Management and Business Process Improvement experience is essential
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skill with a keen eye for detail
- Good written skills and ability to review complex product and legal documentation
- Strong & effective project management and organization skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong working relationships across functional and geographical lines
- Professional outlook with the ability to use initiative, manage deadlines, coordinate multiple tasks and work to deadlines and targets
