About Our Client
Our client, a well-known global business within the Financial Services sector is looking to hire an IT Application Manager.
The Role
As the IT Application Manager you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the regional applications across Asia whilst working alongside a global team. The core focus of the role will include Service Delivery, Project Management, Solution Designing, analysis and coordination. You will be responsible for handling mission critical regional application across a matrix organization structure. You will look to automate manual processes using DevOps, Phython or other technologies. You will work with a variety of stakeholders across the business, resolving complex issues, on-boarding new applications, and improving existing systems.
Your Background
- A Master's or bachelor's degree in Computer science/Information technology, or a related field
- Min 10 years of experience working as IT Application Manager in a large enterprise
- Good technical knowledge on OS (Windows/Linux), Database, ETL, Data visualization, Grid computing, Office Excel, MS Project is essential
- Strong knowledge on DevOps tools (JIRA, JENKINS, Artifactory, Confluence) and practices, integrations, Python programming, etc
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Stack and able to design solutions for business
- Familiarity with Agile Project management principles and practical usage of Agile tools e.g. Jira & Confluence
- Excellent communication, technical and troubleshooting skills
