The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly quantitative, detail-oriented, driven and analytical individual to drive forward fully integrated marketing planning for APAC. This is a key opportunity to be part of a team that plays an integral role in shaping strategy for Business Marketing. This person will work closely across a variety of cross functional teams, including Regional Marketing teams, Local Marketing teams, Business Planning & Operations, Finance, and various centers of excellence. This role requires a unique blend of deep analytical skills and a strategic mindset to drive forward the annual planning process for APAC Global Business Marketing (GBM). The ideal candidate will be passionate about Marketing, be intellectually curious and a fast learner, be able to work independently and be comfortable with ambiguity, whilst keeping focused on high impact projects.


  • Drive APAC GBM 2022 Strategic Planning process
  • Work closely with Interim Head of Marketing Excellence, and the Director of Marketing and other marketing teams to define priorities and gain alignment for 2021 programmes
  • Partner with Finance and Business Planning & Operations on the budgeting process
  • Create and socialize monthly updates on marketing activity, KPI performance, and go forward plans - act as the primary point of contact with various reporting and Analytics teams
  • Drive medium and long-term APAC marketing programmes across various functional areas, looking across various marketing focus areas to identify channel effectiveness opportunities, spend allocation and customer analysis to get to a cohesive learning agenda
  • Collaborate closely with Insights, Digital and Analytics teams to drive cohesive marketing outcomes - especially evolving capabilities in analyzing trends in real time and/or mechanisms in order to push insights to leadership in a timely fashion
  • Act as an internal consultant to the other marketing leaders in the department

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 10+ years of work experience in Brand Marketing, Marketing Excellence, Marketing Planning, Business Planning, Sales Finance, Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting
  • Experience working in marketing in a highly matrixed organization - with proven ability to collaborate with, and influence, business partners
  • Proficient in Excel, and ideally SQL - experience extracting data from large/complex databases, as well as creating data visualizations
  • Intellectual curiosity, rigorous analytical experience and a strong familiarity with the digital environment - demonstrated problem solving experience with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative data in to business strategy - with proven ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights
  • Strategic thinker, with a demonstrable understanding of marketing & sales mechanics - with proven ability to develop compelling strategic narratives and present technical content succinctly
  • Self-motivated, high capacity individual who can function and flourish in a demanding, performance-driven environment
  • Strong communicator - effective articulation of complex business issues across a diverse audience base
  • Creative problem solver who can incorporate new learnings into existing plans and act decisively and independently
