Mechanical Engineer (R&D)
- 12 months contract role, with possible extension
The Opportunity
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug research and/or product development functions in mechanical engineering discipline
- Act as Subject Matter Expert to complex business issues
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and methods
- Work on complex problems/projects where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
- Exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives
- Lead and act as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies
- Represent the company to external customers/clients
Your Background
- Knowledge in hardware design (plastic or sheet metal)
- Has been in R&D or similar industry working on new product development
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a minimum of 3-5 years of equivalent experience
